I'M LAURA — CREATIVE PARTNER & COACH

My Story

Growing up, I wasn’t the loudest in the room or the most confident, but I was always creative and determined.

At university, I lost myself for a while, using partying and late nights as borrowed confidence because I didn’t feel like I had much of my own. From the outside everything looked fine, but inside I felt disconnected from who I really was. My twenties became a period of deep inner work – therapy, EMDR, CBT, journaling – slowly unlearning the stories I’d carried about who I was and what I was capable of.

By my thirties something shifted. I started reconnecting with my creativity and the version of me that had always known she wanted to build something.

I spent 11 years in corporate in the meantime. It taught me more than I expected; about strategy, about people, about what it actually takes to build something that lasts. But I always felt the pull toward something more creative and more mine. So I started building alongside my 9-5: founding Tired Oats Club, taking on creative projects, coaching people through transitions I recognised from my own life.

In 2026 I took voluntary redundancy. Not because I was unhappy but because I was ready. It was the moment I'd been slowly building toward for years.

Now I work as a creative partner and coach for founders, personal brands, and people who are somewhere in the middle of becoming a more creative version of themselves. I help them figure out what they want to say, break through whatever's blocking them from saying it, and build something that genuinely feels like theirs..

You already have the idea. You probably just need someone to help you get out of your own way.

Why me?

I'm a Level 2 ICF-trained coach through Animas, but the qualification is the smallest part of what I bring.

I've spent the last decade helping people and brands show up more creatively and more honestly - through coaching, through creative direction, through being behind the camera for founders who needed someone to help them capture who they actually are.

I know what it feels like to have a creative idea you haven't acted on. I know what it feels like to be good at a career that doesn't fully fit. I know what the identity shift of leaving something safe actually costs, and what it gives back.

My work sits at the intersection of creative direction and coaching because I've found that most people don't need more strategy. They need someone to help them get out of their own way, figure out what they're actually trying to say, and give themselves permission to say it.

I don't promise quick fixes. I work with people who are serious about building something real, and who want support that goes deeper than a content plan.

If that's you, I'd love to work together.

You know what you want to build. You just can't make it feel like you yet. That's exactly what WE work on.
